The Totteridge Academy is now part of United Learning, a group of schools which aims to provide excellent education to children and young people across the country.
We share a common ethos with schools across the Group; seeking to improve the life chances of all the children and young people we serve and making it our mission to bring out the best in everyone – students, staff, parents and the wider community.
Uniquely united across both the state and independent sectors, being part of United Learning affords greater opportunities for students and staff than any single school could offer alone. The growing range of outstanding group-wide activities that we can provide to students will mean that more young people will have truly exceptional and inspiring experiences. From young leadership initiatives and university access programmes to group-wide cultural and sporting events, our students will get the chance to meet and work with peers from a range of contexts across the country.
Similarly, United Learning’s extensive partnership working gives our staff greater access to year-round continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities. With a cluster of schools in and around London – including Walthamstow Academy, Paddington Academy and Guildford High School – teachers will be able to work collaboratively, develop their subject-specialisms and train for leadership positions.
