GCE Product Design KS5 Course Intro:

This is a new qualification structure which has been designed to extend and develop a range of skills learnt from GCSE for the Advance Subsidiary Level (AS). These skills will then be applied to a design and make project in the students’ second year, which will complete the A level qualification.

This is course is divided into Product Design Resistant Materials and Product Design Graphic Products, however both subjects essentially complete the same projects in year 12 and then separate into subject areas for year 13.

Year 12 comprises two units: Unit 1 and Unit 2.
Year 13 also comprises two units: Unit 3 and Unit 4.
