We also have a range of fantastic activities running alongside our set timetable including: theatre trips, Football Beyond Borders, Teens and Toddlers, Peer Mentoring, Masterchef, Junior Entrepreneurs, and sporting events, such as the Rugby Festival at Allianz Park. Many students have been brave enough to speak or perform in assemblies. Year 9s and the Dance Club did excellent assemblies during Black History Month; the Youth Travel Ambassadors have gathered surveys during tutor time and presented to all students; and the Year 10s did their Speak Out Challenge speeches to their whole year group.
It has been very exciting to see the rehearsals going on for the Arts Festival - an excellent example of TTA students’ dedication and enthusiasm. We have a speaker coming in on Wednesday, 13th December after school to speak to the students about Neuroscience. Please encourage your child to come to the talk – they will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss this interesting topic. Every day at lunchtime and after school the library and LRC are available for students to do their homework with members of staff there to help and support.
Our extra-curricular timetable is below - please go through it with your child and encourage them to take advantage of all that’s on offer at school.
