At The Totteridge Academy, we aim to provide a high quality education in a safe, caring and disciplined environment, so that pupils are equipped to become responsible citizens in a scientific, technological and international community.

This means pupils, staff, parents and guardians, governors, the local authority and the wider community working together to provide the best opportunities possible, in an environment in which our students will be able to flourish. We seek to provide quality teaching and a rich educational experience for our pupils that will help them succeed in the global employment market.

As a non-selective, co-educational, community school we are committed to continuous improvement, so that each individual can achieve his or her personal best. We celebrate and are proud of the achievements of all our students and seek to ensure that everyone feels valued.

Meet The Principal

Every child deserves an excellent education.  We strive to deliver this at The Totteridge Academy through a rigorous and challenging curriculum which enables pupils to gain a deep knowledge and understanding of the world around them.  Our teachers appreciate the beauty of maths, the wonder of science and the power of the written word.  We gradually expose students to the best that’s been thought and said in each area of the curriculum – every lesson, every day.
