We were delighted to welcome Year 4 pupils from Underhill School, a local primary school, at the end of January.
The children were invited into the school to make use of our Design & Technology Department facilities, where pupils and their teachers spent their visit making Roman-style catapults out of wood using drills and hammers.
Everyone enjoyed the challenge of making a working catapult and they were delighted to find that they had succeeded when they tested them out at the end of the session.
We were pleased that pupils and teachers enjoyed their visit and we look forward to welcoming them back very soon!
